Eric Shawn Raftery, founder of LifeRaft, has a long history of investing in others. After earning a degree in music from Northeastern University, he became an ordained minister and worked in a large, multi-faceted church involved in local and international ministry. During his 16-year involvement, he led several hundred volunteers monthly, organized citywide outreach ministries, and served as a senior associate pastor. Currently, he is writing and publishing music with some of today most influential writers as well as participating in mission projects around the globe. In recent years, he has been able to travel both nationally and internationally, ministering in churches, Hollywood Bible studies, and nationwide crusades. These opportunities have allowed him to work with people from all walks of life, to mentor and encourage them toward a more meaningful relationship with God. Whether addressing professional athletes, executives, or adults and children in the world most distressed areas, Eric is dedicated to seeing people pursue their dreams and experience more than what life has handed them.
